I honestly thought an adjustable base was just something that raised your head and feet. I was completely wrong. The TEMPUR-Ergo ProSmart has so much technology packed into it that I'm still discovering new features.
Zero Gravity has become my favorite setting. It's unbelievably comfortable, whether I'm reading, watching TV, or just winding down before bed. I never realized how much of a difference that position could make until I experienced it myself.
The snore response feature genuinely impressed me. I was skeptical that it could work without waking me up, but it quietly adjusts when it detects snoring, and it's so subtle I sleep right through it. It's one of those features you don't think you need until you have it.
The massage settings are also a great bonus after a long day, and everything is easy to control through the app. Combined with my Tempur-Pedic mattress, this has completely transformed the way I sleep.
I expected an adjustable base. What I got was a smart sleep system that has genuinely improved my nights. If you're already investing in a premium mattress, don't skip the ProSmart base. It takes the entire experience to another level.

I would like to make a comment/suggestion. I luv my bed BUT I also bought the EASE adjustable frame, the mattress slides. There's a u-shaped bar at the bottom to prevent the mattress from sliding off there, but nothing on the sides or top. Am I missing something, should there be?

Was not intending to buy this when I purchased mattress. However, once it was demonstrated to me I realized it would help with a lot of my body issues. Great frame for the price. Very comfortable and the very fact that you can use it on your existing bed frame is terrific.

So far this base meets the blah of the tempur-pedic luxeadapt hybrid medium mattress I also purchased. It clunks when being adjusted and isn't all that it was told it would be by the salesman. When spending as much money I spent for the mattress and adjustable base that money could have bought a decent used car. One would expect a lot better than this. If you like sleeping on a brick then hey! it's for you.

I Love the adjustable base. Not only does it adjust your top, bottom and middle but it massages your whole body with vibrational sounds. Sound vibrations have been shown to help our nervous system and I can say that it's a much more relaxing massage. I can also get rid of my sleep apps because this bed/frame is providing a lot more information (in a daily report) than my apps every did.

I'm so glad I went back to order this base. Originally I bought a foundation to go with my new mattress. The base is so comfortable. I love being able to adjust it depending on how I'm feeling that day/night. Delivery was reliable and it was simple to put together.

I really wanted to love the new arctic breeze and base; however, the mattress is hot and the base with the fan only really works if you lower your room temperature. If I wanted to do that, I would have kept my old mattress that didn't require a base. I can't get comfortable on the mattress or base. No matter how many times I click the buttons, it just doesn't fit my needs. Total waste of a lot of money. Looking forward to switching it out after 30 days which; thankfully, the store I bought it from allows.

I would not recommend the ease adjustable bed to anyone. Run don't buy. We ordered a split king mattress. The right side of the split bed did not work on day one. Our bed was delivered on a Saturday. We trouble shoot and did everything as instructed in the manual. We called Sealy on Monday and it was discovered that the motor did not work. They would not return the frame. Which they should because it was a manufacture defect. The motor was in back order and I was number 36 in waiting for a part. Clearly that should be a reason to discontinue the ease adjustable base. When I asked for a return as this was a manufacture defect they refused to accept return. Even though the invoice clearly states they will accept return if it is a manufacture defect. Which is a flat out lie as they refused to take back the ease base. Even though the base did not work on day one. I was told it was not necessary for Sealy to accept return since the other side of the split mattress was working. So 30 days later and I still do not have my bed working. After speaking without 5 supervisors I was very disappointed in the product. It disappointed to invest thousands of dollars in a bed that did not work on day one. I will never use them again in the future nor will I recommend it to anyone. So disappointed in Sealy a supposedly reputable company😒

We absolutely love our adjustable base! It has completely changed our sleeping habits and overall comfort. Being able to adjust positions has made such a difference in how well we sleep and relax at night. We didn't realize how much of an improvement it would make until we started using it every day. I bought this adjustable base because my husband is a snorer. I does work as they advertise in that it seems to help to stop his snoring once it automatically adjusts, but, unfortunately, what I wasn't aware of before buying was that it is VERY UNCOMFORTABLE to sleep with the bed inclined. So, definitely factor this in before you buy, as THERE IS NO ABILITY TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE THE PRODUCT, even within a short period of time of trying it out. Expensive mistake.

I purchased the Ergo ProSmart expecting a premium adjustable base, especially at this price point. The biggest disappointment is that it does NOT have wall‑hugger technology, which means the bed moves forward and away from the nightstand every time you raise the head. For a base this expensive, that's a basic feature many lower‑priced brands include.
What makes it worse is that nowhere on the Tempur‑Pedic website does it state that the ProSmart lacks wall‑hugger functionality. If anything, the marketing implies it's their most advanced base, so I assumed it would include what has become a standard feature.
To add to the frustration, the base is not returnable, so I'm stuck with a very costly product that doesn't meet expectations. For the price, transparency and complete feature descriptions should be the minimum.

I have found the frame really impressive so far. I wasn't after adjustability really, so I don't know what to say about that. Other features, however, have been quite nice. I have appreciated the under frame lighting when getting ready for bed and turning off the light and getting into bed. I have an odd room and can't fit things like side tables and lamps in there really without removing more important things like my dresser. The massage feature really feels more like a vibrating rumble than what I think most people would think of when talking about massaging furniture, but I am very happy with it, I find it very relaxing and calming with my particular autism. The height adjustability on the legs is greatly appreciated, I was able to have it set to a height that would accommodate my under bed rolling storage with out making it uncomfortably high for getting in and out of or other activities. The sleep tracking has been quite interesting and has honestly validated what I have been trying to tell doctors, I am not sure if it will make any difference in them taking me kore seriously or not about my sleep issues, but it is nice to know I was pretty accurate with some of what I have been saying and not veen able to really have a record of since I can't wear something like a watch that tracks sleep.

Not only did it take a LONG time to receive my smart base, but I have never been so stressed over a delivery process. First they said I could only have it delivered on a Friday 8am-8pm. When I called to say that's impossible I work they said I'd get a text the night before with my 2 hour delivery window. I received the text saying 11:45-1:45. I had a friend swap shifts at work so she could be here to let the delivery man in. At 10:50 am I get a text saying they'd be there in 10 minutes at 11am. That's NOT in the window they told me. When I called (which is also very difficult because their phone number is nowhere to be found, I told the lady the issue and she said so do you want us to reschedule? When I said no she said i don't know what you want then they will be there soon and there must be an adult there or they will leave. It took me shouting at this woman for 10 minutes (at work, where I then proceeded to get written up for being on my phone) before she said fine she'd made them wait outside until 11:45.
This entire process was absolutely ridiculous for the amount I had spent on the base. My coworker thought I was crazy because I talked about the base for weeks but as everything went down I told her I was calling temperpedic and canceling my order if they made me reschedule my delivery. It was an all around terrible stressful process that made me no longer excited but instead regretful of my purchase. For such a popular and VERY expensive company, I would have expected a much better delivery system.

Changing from a traditional bed, it has taken some getting used to. However, I am sleeping longer and my arms/shoulders no longer hurt in the morning. The ability to elevate my head has helped the acid reflux. Definitely a win!

The bed frame broke, likely during delivery. It's cheaply made with poor materials; adding a Bluetooth speaker doesn't increase its value. I called and emailed with multiple pictures and follow-ups, only to be passed around. After two months, and over an hour and a half holding on a call, they finally send ServCo to come out and told me I need a new base. Temper is now asking me to start the process all over again. We spent $10k for a poor sleep experience and the worst customer service I have experienced in decades. It feels intentional, so I give up trying to get it resolved.

In General-
The height is great if you have issues standing from a lower bed or if you use a wheelchair or scooter, the wheels fit under the ledge so you can get closer to the bed. The bed goes to a higher angle than my last bed. When it didn't raise to nearly 90 degrees, it hurt my neck to do things in bed, like was watch TV or write.
Split King Features-
PROS: People complain about the gap in a split king, but I really like it. Not just for the independent bed functions but because it gives a little extra room if laying on your side puts too much pressure on your arm. And of course, being able to use each side independently when one partner wants to tuck in early.
CONS: The split frame was hooked together by the guys who installed the bed (they were great), but it does not stop the mattresses from falling off the sides if someone tosses and turns. Trying to find a solution that doesn't impede the function and doesn't require me to drill holes in my new bed frame is hard and requires some trial and error. It's also much harder to change the sheets if your bed is up against a wall because you'll have to climb onto one bed to put the fitted sheet on the inside corner of the other.
A few complaints, but they are all fairly minor and overall, we love the bed.

Why wait to gift yourself /family, the best TEMPUR MATRESS AND BASE ADJUSTMENT available on the market. Isn't it difficult falling asleep trying to position yourself for full support of your body ~ head to toe, including our aging back, lumpar, etc. The incline, comfortable positions helps relieve the pressure, elevates your support while you sleep - on your back, side, or front! Tale of two ProSmart Bases, and two completely different customer experiences.
We went with the Split King, which are two Twin XL mattresses and bases. One ProSmart Base has worked properly from the beginning. The other has never worked properly. We've had to call for service multiple times. Twice, the service appointments were not scheduled correctly, so we just waited for no one to show up, and had to call back in. Two different times, they sent the wrong part, which meant the technician couldn't make the repair when he showed up (the process is that they'll ship the replacement part to your home before the technician arrives, rather than the technician showing up with with replacement part). This meant calling in again, and going through their process again, which includes following their tedious troubleshooting checklist again, and again, and again. All of this has taken close to six months.
Now in trying to get a warranty claim, I have to start a fresh new process where it's asking me to jump through hoops submitting receipts, photos and documents I've either already submitted for the service issue, or they should already have.
Not sure how they can make it more inconvenient.
Compare that to the purchase experience. We had a first-class sales experience at the TempurPedic store in Costa Mesa. If it wasn't for the lemon ProSmart Base, our review would easily be 5 stars.
This is our second TempurPedic bed. We've never had to call into TempurPedic support before this issue. This was a learning experience. If nothing is wrong, the experience is first class. If something goes wrong, it's a low-grade, mismanaged adventure.
